About
Lucy Parnell-Ross is a painter and photographer based in Dorset. Her abstract mixed media pieces are inspired by a combination of the physical landscapes around her, especially the changing seasons, as well as the emotional landscape happening in this explosive time we are living in. The paintings are intuitive and evolve and develop at their own pace, sometimes worked over many times to create a multi-layered richness on the canvas. She uses colour and suggestions of form to create a sentiment and feeling of familiarity or memory of a place.
Commissions
